I love being a dentist and look forward to coming to work every day. My patients are also my friends and neighbors. I am proud to be part of such a wonderful community. Our office motto is “we treat our patients the way we would want to be treated,” and we live it every day. We have a great time getting to know our patients, many of whom have been with us for 20 years or more!
I graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry. I enjoy learning about advances in my profession and take multiple courses each year in various facets of dentistry. I am also involved with many local study clubs to keep up to date on the latest techniques and materials. When I learn about advanced technologies and innovative methods, I can ensure that my patients always receive the highest level of care possible. I also served as president of the Kitsap County Dental Society in 2009.
I have been practicing dentistry since 1985, and love what I do more than ever. I have always cared deeply about others and enjoy helping them look and feel their best. If a patient is nervous about seeing a dentist or is in pain, I try to help him or her relax and use all my skills to make the visit comfortable and positive. One of the best parts of my job is seeing patients smile and having them tell me how relieved they are that their appointment was actually relaxing! My team and I are truly committed to our patients’ health and well-being, and it shows every day.
I have been in the Silverdale area since 1990 when I moved here as a dentist in the Navy. I love hiking in our beautiful mountains and sailing in the Puget Sound. I have been married for nearly four decades to my wife Kim. Our daughter Elizabeth is a naturopathic doctor here in Silverdale, and our son Steven is an engineer in Keyport.
